POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR SC/OBC CANDIDATES
Scholarships will be paid to the those SC students whose parents/guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees two lac fifty thousands only) per annum and Rs 1 lac in case of OBC students.
(a) Government of Punjab Deptt. of Welfare has issued instructions vide memo no 3/74/07-SA-II/2012/615 -18 dated 24 December, 2012 for Post-matric Scholarship Scheme for SC candidates. These instructions must be implemented in true spirit.
(b) Government of Punjab, Directorate of Technical Education and Industrial Training Punjab has issued a letter to Universities / Institutes vide memo No. 637-646 dt. 14-03-2016 regarding admission under Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme. According to the letter
(i) It has been decided by the Government that Post-matric Scholarship shall only be granted to those SC/ST/OBC students who would enroll through online counseling to be conducted by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training for Diploma level Courses and I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar for Degree courses for the Academic session 2016-17 onwards 
(ii) Any SC/ST/OBC category admissions made through management quota or as per the policy laid down in the relevant State Government notification have to be routed through the above said online admission process for claims of Post-Matric Scholarship to discourage few institutes who were indulging in claiming false and /or duplicate scholarship in the recent past.
(iii) These instructions shall come to force with immediate effect.

Merit cum means scholarship for Minority students
The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.
A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the course.
The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh from all sources.
The Income Certificate would remain valid for One Year.
Aadhar Number is also required for payment of scholarship.
The scheme is implemented through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). It is mandatory for all students to apply online on the website of this Ministry i.e. [http://www.scholarships.gov.in=]www.scholarships.gov.in.
IKGPTU Scholarship Scheme 2019:
1) 100% Tuition Fee Waiver to candidate scoring above 90% in Qualifying Exam (Diploma Engg./10+2)
2) 50% Tuition Fee Waiver to candidate scoring between 80% to 90% in Qualifying Exam (Diploma Engg./10+2)
M3M Foundation Scholarship Scheme 2019:
The scheme is implemented by M3M India Pvt. Ltd. with the objective to improve the condition of the underprivileged in the country.
1) Applicable for BPL families and other low income families.
2) Income limit For Employed Parents Rs 6 lac per year and for all others 3.50 lac per year.
3) Income Certificates issued by the competent authorities as designated by the respective State Govt. Like Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, BDO, Gram Pradhan, President of Village Panchayat etc. are acceptable.
4) For 3 years or longer duration courses, applications will not be entertained from final year students.
5) Percentage for Boys 70% and above.
6) Percentage for Girls 65% and above.

Parent Less/Father Less Scholarship Scheme 2019:
Students under this scholarship will be given a waiver of Tuition Fee.
The income of parents from all sources should be less than 2.50 lacs.
In case of Father Less student, if the mother of student is working than he/she will get only 50% of Tuition Fee Waiver.
